Our knowledgeable guides and a fleet of rafts ready to get you on some of the best fly fishing waters in Virginia. Whether you want to cast to bronze backs on the Shenandoah River or test your skills on the Jackson River Tailwaters, MRO has spent decades learning these waters.

Want the river to yourself? MRO has exclusive access to floats on the Middle River and North River, tributaries of the Shenandoah. With no public launches, these fish are never pressured, and aggressively take flies topwater and subsurface. Wildlife abounds as you float through the serene Shenandoah Valley.

PRICING
$500 per boat, maximum 2 anglers per boat. Lunches are included. You will need a valid Virginia fishing license.

We have endless patience and offer kindness and guidance through every step of the way. Fly fishing doesn't need to intimidate or frustrate! We strive to get our clients heading in the right direction by learning the basics and we're always excited to get beginners out on the water. And with us, everyone is welcome.

We float the Jackson, Middle River, North River, Shenandoah, and Rivanna. These rivers are located in central and northern Virginia.

Either one! Virginia offers miles of public mountain streams for catch and release fly fishing adventures. Our local waters offer a chance to catch brook trout, smallmouth bass, and other types of fish offering endless opportunities to improve your fly fishing skills. Our Private Waters ensure an intimate experience with nature. We have private water to float in Augusta county.
